Ruth M. Gurdak, 84, of Robbinsville passed away, July 8, 2013 at her home after a lengthy illness.  Born in New Sharon, she was a lifetime resident. A graduate of Cathedral High School in Trenton and Georgian Court University in Lakewood, she later taught at Georgian Court University before retiring from Sharon School in 1988.  Ruth was a former member of the Cathedral H.S. Alumni Club, a member of the Robbinsville Twp. Fellowship Club and a member of the Robert Wood Johnson 50+ Club. She volunteered with her husband at RWJ Hospital and attended St. John's Church in Allentown and St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hightstown.

Daughter of the late William G. and M. Frances Hogan Rue, she was predeceased by her daughter, Peggy Gurdak Nixon and her grandson, Gregory J. Suder.  Ruth is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stanley J. Gurdak; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Joseph Suder of Langhorne, PA and Maggie and Anthony Corsi of Bordentown; a brother and sister-in-law, William F. and Claire Rue of Carlisle, PA; 4 grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Suder and Nicholas and Caitlin Corsi as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Friday, July 12 ^th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown.  Friends may call Thursday night from 7 to 9pm and again Friday morning, 9 to10am at Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St., Allentown. Mass Cards are appreciated.
