Ruth C. Egan, 95, of Hamilton Square, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at St. Joseph's at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville. Born in Crosswicks, she attended Rider College and worked as a private secretary for John A. Roebling and Sons. After she married, Edward Egan, they built their home in Hamilton Square, where she lived until recently. Ruth played the piano and enjoyed shopping and traveling.

Daughter of the late Edward and Marie Carter; she was predeceased in 1985 by her husband Edward. Ruth is survived by many close friends that she considered family.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 27 ^th at 11:45 am at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 465 Paxson Ave, Trenton, NJ 08690. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
