Obituary

Ruth Ann Floyd Torres, 74, of Browns Mills, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born in Trenton, she grew up in Allentown and was a graduate of Allentown High School. Ruth Ann worked for Burlington County Overhead Doors prior to working for many years for Jammer Doors from where she retired. She loved to go fishing, her favorite place being Island Beach State Park, and she enjoyed playing Bingo and bowling. She was a member of several leagues, including Papp’s in Bordentown. Ruth Ann also loved animals, especially her dogs and cats.

Daughter of the late Howard and Rosalie Floyd, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and John Floyd. Ruth Ann is survived her partner of many years, Frank Dawley; her siblings, David Floyd and his wife, Debby, Nancy Hammell, and Richard Floyd; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
