Rosemarie A. MacGregor, 92, of Robbinsville, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her daughter's home, surrounded by her family. Born in Hilldale, PA, her family later moved to Philadelphia, Pa. Rosemarie was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Girls. Rosemarie later married her husband, Charles H. MacGregor who was stationed at the Naval Base in Philadelphia. They were married in 1951 in Philadelphia. As a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, Charles, Rosemarie, and their family lived all over the country. They later settled in Levittown New Jersey in 1959 which later was changed to Willingboro. Rosemarie worked as a retail buyer for Pomeroy's Department Stores. When Rosemarie retired from retail and after the passing of her husband Charles, she went to work for Curini Appraisal Company in Hamilton Township.
She was a former member of St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton.
Rosemarie was an accomplished artist. She loved to paint and draw and was especially drawn to Southwestern scenes and culture as her subjects. She enjoyed classical music, was an avid reader and history buff, she loved to decorate her home for the holidays, which she did beautifully. Rosemarie also enjoyed spending time in Vermont with her daughters, Lorrie and Robin Curini. Rosemarie also enjoyed visiting the Weston Priory with her daughters on their yearly fall visits to Vermont.
Daughter of the late Dominick and Irene Travarelli, she was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Charles H. MacGregor and her brother, Donald Travarelli. Rosemarie is survived by her three daughters and son-in-law, Robin and Ronald Curini, Jane MacGregor, and Lorrie MacGregor, with whom she lived with. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Fedore, Samantha Purdy, her husband Dan, and Jack Quigley. She has four great grandchildren, Ashton, Charlie, Wyatt, and Andrew.
A visitation with the family will be held from 4-5pm with a Memorial service to begin at 5pm on Wednesday, April 6that the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosemarie's name to the priory at The Benedictine Foundation of the State of Vermont, Inc, 58 Priory Hill Road, Weston, VT 05161-6400 or at The Benedictine Monks of Weston Priory, Vermont
