Rosemarie D. Harris, 81, of Bordentown Township, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County. Born and raised in Trenton, she resided in Bordentown Twp. for the past 52 years. Rosemarie was the bank manager for Bank of America in Hopewell and most recently, the secretary of the St. Mary's Church Office in Bordentown. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, its Altar Rosary Society and the St. Mary's Seniors. She was also a past member of the Legion of Mary and the Bordentown Community Players. Rosemarie was very active in the community and enjoyed helping others.
Daughter of the late Salvatore and Giulia Damico DeCicco; she is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Deacon David M. Harris, Jr.; her daughter, Trisha Fasick of Plumsted; her son, David M. Harris and his wife June Gazek-Harris of Roebling; four grandchildren, Donald R. Matney and his wife Landry, Giulia R. Matney, Brittany H. Matney and Rebekah Harris; three great grandchildren, Carlene and Blake Matney and Cameron Porter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 6 th at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow the parish cemetery. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-9pm and again Tuesday morning from 9-10am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ 08505 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
