Rose Mary Costigan, 87 of Bordentown Twp., passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Clare Bridge of Westampton. Rose Mary retired from Bordentown Regional School District where she was a teacher at Peter Muschal Elementary School for 27 years and was a member of NJEA and St. Mary's Church in Bordentown.

Wife of the late James Joseph Costigan, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Costigan; two granddaughters, Anna Louisa Eaves and Lydia Rose Eaves all of Bordentown Twp.; two nephews, James and his wife Pam Ratigan of PA and William Ratigan of Chesterfield; two nieces, Jean Ratigan and Bridget Targonski both of Bordentown and a special friend, Joseph Aveni of Bordentown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 23rd at St. Mary's Church, Bordentown. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm on Tuesday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ 08505.
