Ronald L. Pawson, 61, passed away Sunday, August 31, after a lengthy struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Adrian, MI., he was a resident of the East Brunswick and Hightstown areas most of his life. He was a graduate of Rider University and was an accountant with the IBM Corporation of Dayton, NJ and Washington DC. Ron was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed coaching Babe Ruth Baseball in Lawrenceville.
Son of the late Willard L. Pawson, he is survived by his mother, Doris of Eustis, FL., his wife Barbara Pawson of Robbinsville, a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Richard Howe of Robbinsville, A son and daughter-in-law, David Pawson and Patricia Grewell of San Mateo, CA., a brother, Douglas Pawson of Eustis, FL., a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Claude Stevens of Harlem, GA., eight grandchildren and his special caregiver, Ursula Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home and again Wednesday morning from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid Jersey Chapter, 246 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, NJ 07755.
