Ronald Dunster, 72, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  Born in Elizabeth, he grew up in Carteret, later moving to Allentown in 1986.  Owner of Special Technical Services Inc, Ron was very active in the Allentown Community.  He was a founding member of the Give Back Foundation and the former Recreation Commissioner of Allentown Boro.  Ron was member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in East Windsor, the past president of the MidJersey AACA, a member of Theodore Roosevelt Lodge #219 F&AM in Carteret and a member of the Monmouth County Hunt Club.

Son of the late Curtis and Elsie Dunster, he was predeceased by his brother Roger Dunster.  Ron is survived by his wife of 52 years Myrtle Dunster; his children, Nancy Donoughe and her husband, Daniel of Stroudsburg, PA, Patricia Crawford of Kendall Park and Allan Dunster and his wife, Kim of Flanders; a brother, Henry Dunster of FL; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Dunster of OR; an aunt, Edie Wasilek of Sewaren; 7 grandchildren, Kevin and Kimberly Donoughe, Aimee, Sean and Allison Crawford, Amanda Boyle and Matthew Dunster; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 11 am on Thursday, March 21 ^st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Pastor James Egan will officiate.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Give Back Foundation P.O.
