Roger T. Feltz, 74, of Allentown, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at his home. Born in Newark, NJ, Roger served as Military Police for the US Army, during the Vietnam Era, stationed in Germany. He worked his entire career at the Bayway Refinery in Linden for Exxon (later ConocoPhillips), retiring as a Section Supervisor.
Roger was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He also enjoyed travelling with his wife and family. Above all, he was a devoted family man that loved spending time with his daughters and their families and enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
Son of the late John and Elva Feltz, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Feltz; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tara and Matthew Coyle and Dana and Daniel Schwartz; his grandchildren, Cameron and Brendan Coyle and Evan, Kara, and Zachary Schwartz; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Pat Feltz; sister and brother-in-law, Elva and Bill Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Sunday, December 18 th from 2-4 pm with a funeral service to begin at 4pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
Burial in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roger's name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center ( www.mskcc.org ) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org )
