Roger H. Bullock, 88, of Dublin Mills, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2026, with loved ones by his side.
A man of deep faith and a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Roger lived a life marked by unwavering devotion to God, faithful service to others, and enduring love for his family. The youngest of five children, Roger was born on the family farm in Cream Ridge, NJ, on November 9, 1937, to the late Norman and Ethel Bullock. Roger resided in Crosswicks and then Cream Ridge for many years before moving to Dublin Mills. He graduated from Allentown High School and worked in the State of New Jersey’s Department of Agriculture as an entomologist. Roger's deep faith guided the way he lived each day. Reading his Bible was one of his greatest sources of comfort and inspiration. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F&AM and found joy in classic cars, antique tractors, sports, and the outdoors, especially deer hunting.
Roger was a man who measured his life not in accomplishments but in his relationships: a devoted husband who, alongside his beloved wife Florine, was an active member of Dublin Mills Community Church, a loving father who supported his sons at sports games, tractor shows and 4-H events, a cherished grandfather who took his grandchildren on adventures and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on, and a caring neighbor who could always be counted on to lend a hand and support his community.
Roger’s greatest joy was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Ethel (Hutchinson) Bullock; his brothers, Charles, Edward, and Norman Jr. Bullock; and his sister, Jane Croshaw. He is survived by his wife, Florine Bullock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Paula Bullock of Farmingdale, and Kirk and Jennifer Bullock of Cream Ridge; grandchildren, Amanda Bullock, Karly Bullock, and Caleb Bullock and his wife, Abbey; stepchildren and their spouses, Lori and Ronnie Shehan, Christian and Pam Bomersbach, and Robert and Mark Bomersbach; as well as step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Roger will be forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, humor, unwavering faith in God, and unconditional love for his family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown, NJ, on Friday, July 10, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Following the services, Mark and Kirk Bullock invite family and close friends to Bullock Farms, 83 Emley's Hill Drive, Cream Ridge, NJ, for food, refreshments, and dessert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roger's memory to Dublin Mills Community Church, 2700 Dublin Mills Road, Hustontown, PA 17229.
