Roger E. Armstrong, 78, of Columbus, passed away into God's loving and eternal care on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Brookside Senior Living in Westampton. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus, NJ. A graduated from Bordentown High School in 1954; he worked at Mansfield Oil Co. for many years and was a lifelong farmer with his father and brother at Meadow View Farms. Roger enjoyed working at every task he undertook. Among those were camping, bowling, hunting and the tractor pulls at Burlington County Fairgrounds. Roger was also an active church attendee at Chesterfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Marion, of 57 years; his son Glenn; his son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Helene; his grandchildren, Dylan, Delainey, McKenzie and Emmaline; his great granddaughter, Cordelia and many nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Byron N. and Virginia H Armstrong and his brother, Byron W. Armstrong.

Funeral service will be held 11 am on Thursday, February 12th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 112 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Interment will follow in Columbus Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
