Roberta L. Rife, 83, formerly of Ewing, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024. Born in Trenton, she resided in Ewing for most of her life. Roberta worked at Capital Sales Clothing in Ewing for many years. Prior to that she was an Administrative Assistant at the State of New Jersey and worked at Park Lane Furniture in Lawrence Township, NJ. Her most important occupation was taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She supported her daughters and their families by caring for her grandchildren when they were young. She was always there to lend a hand and loved to spend time with them and her family. Her grandchildren, which she helped raise, were her pride and joy. Roberta enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino, playing the lottery, socializing, and keeping up with friends and family.

Daughter of the late Robert and Lucy Rodenbaugh, she was predeceased by her husband, Samuel J. Rife, and by her sister, Helen Rodenbaugh, who passed away as a child.  Roberta is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Kenneth Fry and Sandra and Peter Schepelenko and by her beloved grandchildren, Kevin Fry, Matthew Fry, and Samantha Schepelenko; and several special cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23rd from 10:30-11:30am with a memorial service to begin at 11:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Inurnment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
