Robert "Bob" Strovinsky, 82 passed away Wednesday, August 26th in Greenville, Maine, where he lived with his wife of 55 years, Anne. Born in 1933 in Pottsville, PA, he served in Korea with the U.S. Army from 1953 – 1955. Bob spent most of his life in New Jersey where he lived in Westfield and owned a steel fabricating company, Greater Jersey Welding, in Middlesex, NJ. After retiring in 1994, he and Anne moved to Wilson Pond in Greenville, ME. They spent most of their winters in Port St. Lucie, FL, and loved to travel and enjoyed visiting many European cities.
Bob is survived by his wife, Anne (Hall) and his son and daughter-in-law, Rob & Lisa Strovinsky and his grandchildren Ben and Ava.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30am Friday, September 4th at St John's Roman Catholic Church in Allentown, NJ. Following the service, there will be a private burial at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
