Obituary

Robert Pavlov Sr., 62, of Columbus, NJ, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton, with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Bordentown and moved to Hamilton Square, where he graduated from Steinert High School in 1970. He later moved to Columbus, NJ, where he had lived for the last 26 years.

Robert owned and operated Nate's Pub in Hamilton and was a retired Teamsters driver for "Consolidated Freightways". He was an active member of Mansfield Township, where he served as; Chairman for the Recreation Committee, member of the Planning Board and Zoning Board. He coached baseball and soccer in the recreational league in Mansfield was a Green Bay Packers and Phillies fan and enjoyed classic cars and music.

Son of the late Charles and Anne Pavlov, brother of the late Charles A. Pavlov Jr and previous husband of the late Christine Hutchinson Pavlov, he is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Susan Inman Pavlov, three sons and two daughters-in-law; Rob Pavlov of Mansfield Twp., Chuck and Liz Pavlov of Versailles, KY and Josh and Josette Pavlov of Florence, NJ, two step children; Becky Gaynor Martin of Hamilton and Will Gaynor and his wife Carol of Bordentown, his brother; Greg Pavlov and his wife Kathy of Phoenixville, PA, his sister-in-law; Kit Wojcik and her husband Tony of Rochester Hills, MI, five grandchildren; Vlad and Izzie Pavlov, Kasey and Cole Martin, Gabi Gaynor and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Monday, June 23 at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Township. Friends may call Sunday afternoon 4 to 7 pm and again Monday morning 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ.
