Robert J. Schaumloeffel, 72, of Cream Ridge passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at his home. Born in Elizabeth, Robert was a graduate of Delaware Valley College and later earned his Masters from Rutgers University. He was owner and operator of Hidden Lake Nursery in Cream Ridge which he established in 1975, when he moved to the area. Robert was a member of the NJ Farm Bureau and St. John's Church and was an avid tennis player. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Son of the late Edward and Josephine Schaumloeffel, he was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen and his son, Robert. He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Diane Schaumloeffel and Kristen and Robert Myers, all of Cream Ridge; three loving granddaughters, Heather Yesuvida, Haley Myers and Martina; a brother, Edward Schaumloeffel; two sisters, Joy Schaumloeffel and Patricia Schaumloeffel; his mother-in-law, Tessie Wollmann of Whiting and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Sandra Wollmann of Corpus Christi, TX.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2nd at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown, Rd. Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Friday, from 5pm to 9pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown.
