Robert C. Sauber, 86, of Allentown, passed away Monday, January 5th, at his son's home. Born in Ewing Township, NJ he was an area resident for most of his life, before moving to Allentown 2 years ago. He was a 1941 graduate of Trenton Central High School and a member of the Order of DeMolay. He retired as an office manager for PSE&G of Trenton, and was an Army Veteran of WWII. Robert was an avid reader and enjoyed jazz music.

Son of the late Walter and Mary Sourbeer and father of the late William P. Sauber, he is survived by a son, Robert W. Sauber and Ann Laurie Fratticcioli of Allentown, NJ. He was the proud grandfather of Keara Sauber of Red Bank, NJ, Leah and her husband Michael Pontani of Mt. Holly, NJ, and Winston Sauber of Arcata, CA. He is also survived by Dorothea Louf of North Carolina; Michele Fratticcioli, and a nephew, Jack Boscarell.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 8th, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Twp. Family and friends may call Thursday morning 9-11 am. A service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home.
