Robert James Quinlin of New Egypt N.J. passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017, a day before his 86th birthday. Born in Elizabeth, N.J on July 25,.1931 Robert was the son of Raymond P. Quinlin and Helen L. (Keeler) Quinlin and the brother of Barbara L. LoPresti and Raymond Quinlin, both deceased. A graduate of Linden High School, he served in active combat in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1951 to 1954. He worked principally in chemical production positions during his career, most significantly with Diamond Shamrock Corp. and its successors. Robert was an avid tennis player and enjoyed fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was a beloved friend, son, brother and uncle and is survived by his nephews Edward and Thomas W. LoPresti of Hope,

N.J. Military services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday August 10, 2017 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Those that wish to participate in the funeral procession may meet at 12:30 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S Main St, Allentown, NJ 08501.
