Obituary
Robert H. Peters, 56, passed away Tuesday at Van Dyke Hospice, Toms River. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Cape Coral, FL for 10 years. A graduate of Allentown High School, Robert worked for Verizon (Bell Atlantic) in Newark for many years.
He is survived by his parents Howard and Bernice Peters of Allentown; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Karen Peters of Cookstown, Todd and Key Peters of Broken Arrow, OK and Thomas and Cheryl Peters of Cream Ridge; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and James Smith of Cream Ridge; former spouse and close friend Judy Peters of Jackson; and six nieces and nephews.
Calling hour will be Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Graveside services and interment will follow in Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
