Robert Bruce Patterson, Sr., 76, of Millstone Twp. lost his battle with cancer on August 25th. Born in Jamesburg, he was a lifetime area resident. Robert worked for Quaker Oats for 25 years. In 1994 he retired from M.J. Grove and currently was still actively farming. Robert was a veteran racecar driver and raced for 25 years on local dirt tracks. You could often find him taking day trips to Atlantic City.

Predeceased by his grandson, Steven Robert Pinhas; He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Patterson; his daughter, Shirley Pinhas; son Robert Bruce Patterson, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Jackie Patterson; his grandchildren, Jon, Laura and Jenna Pinhas. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Pat Patterson; sister-in-law Dolores Stonaker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 10am Friday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Edward Conway will officiate. Interment will follow in Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm and again Friday 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Steven R.
