Robert E. McElhone, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had been a resident of Columbus and Bordentown the last few years. He retired as an electrician with the Local #98 in Philadelphia, was a member of Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F&AM, the Joseph H. Brown Lodge #751 and was a member of the Columbus United Methodist Church.

Predeceased by his parents Elmer and hazel McElhone, he is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Kathleen D. McElhone, his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Christine McElhone of Florida, two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Hall of Voorhees and Carolyn and Michael Koegel of Mt. Laurel, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be 1 pm Thursday, October 15, in the Chapel at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Those wishing to attend may join the family at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown by 12:30 pm to join the procession to the cemetery.
