Robert F. Giordano, Sr.

Robert F. Giordano, Sr., 86 of Freehold, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 at his home. Born in Sommerville, MA, he resided in Allentown, NJ where he was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church for many years before moving to Freehold. A US Army veteran, Robert worked as an Executive Officer for the US Army, retiring as the Director of Research, Development, and Engineering Center for the U.S Army Communications and Electronics Command.

Robert enjoyed staying active, playing basketball for his college team and later in life, took up playing golf. He also enjoyed Disney, especially Mickey Mouse and he had an extensive Mickey Mouse watch collection. Above all, Robert loved his family. He loved watching his children and grandchildren grown and spent many hours combining old photos and music to create videos for his family.

Son of the late Carmeno and Michelina Giordano, Robert was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Audrey Giordano and by his sister, Barbara Beatrice. He is survived by his son, Robert F. Giordano, Jr.; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey and Barrett Kobrin and Kristen and Frank Vella and by his beloved grandchildren, Brianna, Justin, Megan, Emily, and Frankie.

A viewing will be held Monday, July 6th from 9am-10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
