Robert "Bob" J. DeMaria, 81, of Allentown, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025. Born in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, he was a graduate of Fordham University and St. John's University. He moved to Freehold, NJ where he lived for many years before moving to Allentown in 2012.

Bob was an attorney and worked at AIG for many years. He was a sports enthusiast and loved watching baseball, going to horse races, and playing water volleyball. Bob liked to keep active, exercising daily.

Always the life of the party, Bob was quick witted and always ready with a joke. His favorite times were spent with family and friends. Whether it was spending quiet times with his beloved wife Rocky, watching his grandchildren play sports or supporting their activities or having a good cigar and a bourbon with a friend, these times were special to him.

Son of the late Robert and Josephine DeMaria, he was predeceased by his first wife, Nikki DeMaria. Bob is survived by his wife of over 29 years, Rochelle "Rocky" DeMaria; his daughter, Cathy Walsh; his stepchildren, Francine and Robert Roberts, Marc and Melissa Lovitch, and Elyse and Shane Harrison; his grandchildren, Andrew, Dylan, Nicole, Leigha, Lauren, Landon, Evan, and Eleyna; his sister and brother-in-law, Claudia and Louis Marsiello as well as several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 17th from 10am to 12pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Funeral Service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
