Robert Cox, 79, of Cream Ridge, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Hamilton Twp., Robert resided in Allentown for many years before moving to Cream Ridge 5 years ago. A US Coast Guard veteran, he retired from the City of Trenton, Dept. of Inspections as a Construction Inspector. He owned a television sales and service store in Allentown for many years. Robert was also a talented gardener and was known throughout Allentown for his beautiful roses. He was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
Son of the late Thomas and Mary Cox, Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Carol A. Cox; his children, Cindi Cox, Cheryl Kosko and her husband Jason, Robert Cox and Becky Cox-Sieg and her husband Ray; his grandchildren, Chris Jones, Jen Hafner, Kevin and Jon Haas and Ava and Raymond Sieg; his great granddaughter, Abbie Hafner and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 9th from 1pm to 4 pm at the Jensen's Deep Run Clubhouse, 20 Longview Trail, Cream Ridge. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
