Robert E. Bairstow, 73, formerly of Magnolia, NJ passed away while living in the Philippines on August 3, 2019. Upon graduation form Deptford High School in 1963, he entered the U.S. Navy where he was honorably discharged in 1966. Bob retired from Hobart Corp. in 2010. An avid reader, Bob loved traveling and watching sports, especially the Philadelphia sports teams. In his youth, he was an ardent Patti Smith fan and loved all kinds of music.

Preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Kathleen Bairstow, Bob is survived by his daughter, Susan Bairstow, his son, Kyle Bairstow and his daughter, Michelle Bairstow. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Hannah, Kayla and Morgan, and Tyler; his sisters and brothers-in-law Elaine and Ronald Becktel and Patricia and Kevin Holloway as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 24 ^th at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So Main St., Allentown. Friends may call from 11 am until time of service. Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
