Robert W. Alpaugh , 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 16, 2024 in Delaware with his family by his side. Born in Doylestown, PA, he had resided in New Jersey and South Carolina prior to relocating to Delaware. Bob was a proud Marine Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was a corporate Executive in telecommunications in New York at McGraw Hill and Time Life Inc. and in Delaware at MBNA.
Bob was a member and Past Master of Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite Valley of Southern New Jersey and a member of the Crescent Shrine. He was also a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 and the American Legion Post #28 of Millsboro, DE. He enjoyed playing golf, photography, travel and landscape design, but more importantly enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Margaret Alpaugh, he is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years Christine N. Alpaugh of Millsboro, DE; his 4 sons, Rodd (Daphne) of Cherry Hill, NJ; Ryan of Okatie, SC; Robert Jr. (Erin) of Pine Hall, NC; and George Neighbors, Jr. (Bryan) of Verona, VA.; his sister Marie Lambert (Richard) of Lindenwold, NJ; Aunt and Uncle, Phyllis and Anthony Antonelli of Pennsauken, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Adriannah, Zander, Remington, Zale and Reese; and nieces and nephews and close friends.
Services will be celebrated at Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rte 73 South, Marlton, NJ. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 23 from 6-8 pm. On Wednesday, July 24, a brief viewing will also be held from 10-11 am followed by a private burial service for family members.
