Richard H. Trout, 82, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton. He was born, raised and lived in Bordentown all of his life. He was Valedictorian of his class of 1952 at the Bordentown Military Institute and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for Trans America De Laval of Trenton. He was a life member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Bordentown, Past Master of Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F&AM, was a past Senior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of NJ, an active member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Central Jersey and many other Masonic organizations. He was a member of the Hope Hose Humane Company #1, the Rescue Squad and a member of the YaPewi Yacht Club, both of Bordentown.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Florence Trout, Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Genevieve Trout, his three sons; Kenneth (Colleen) Trout of Bordentown, Kevin (Jennifer) Trout of Hamilton Square, and Keith (Chrysa) Trout of Bordentown. Richard was also survived by his granddaughters; Jessica Trout, Jordan Trout, and Carli Shaw, great grandson; Cayden Trout and his sister; Loraine M. Sickles and nephew Michael Sickles both of Florida.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated 11 am Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at Christ Episcopal Church, 130 Prince St. in Bordentown. Friends and family may call from 6pm-9pm on Friday, December 16th, at the Valley of Central Jersey, AASR, 103 Dunns Mill Rd., Bordentown, NJ. Masonic Services will be at 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richards name to Christ Episcopal Church, Hope Hose Humane Company #1, 150 W. Burlington St, Bordentown, NJ 08505 or to VR Skipper Learning Center, 103 Dunns Mill Rd, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
