Richard L. Szwed, age 39, of Cream Ridge, passed away Thursday at Capital Health Systems, Fuld Campus. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Cream Ridge for many years before moving to Wrightstown. Richard attended Allentown High School and enjoyed scuba diving. He was top of his class at Diver's Academy International in Camden.

Son of the late Joseph and Katherine Hill Szwed, he is survived by two brothers, Joseph Szwed and his wife Cheryl of Cream Ridge and Michael Szwed of Allentown, a sister, Kelly Szwed of Robbinsville and two nieces Michelle and Amy Szwed of Cream Ridge.

Funeral Service will be held Friday 10am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Thursday 7-9pm at the funeral home.
