Richard J. Sentak , 71, of Bordentown, NJ passed away on August 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at Serenity Hospice Robert Wood Johnson. Rick was born and raised in Hamilton, where he attended Hamilton High School West, Class of 1970. Following high school, he enlisted into the United States Navy as a Sea Bee during the Vietnam War.  He then began working at the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Rick worked his way to being the Supervisor of Bridges and Structures until his retirement in 2015.  He then assumed a position as a consultant for Gannett Fleming. Ricks hobbies included spending many hours restoring his Corvette and Nova.  He also enjoyed working in his yard doing landscaping, often seen with a leaf blower in hand.  He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all.

Predeceased by his parents; Anna M. and John J. Sentak, his sister Dolores Krawzun and his brother Raymond Sentak.  Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years Jill Sentak, his son Richard J. Sentak Jr. (Kelsey) of Southampton, PA, his sister Elizabeth Birmingham (John) of Jamesville, NY. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and his beloved grand dog Riley.

Memorial Services for Richard will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, August 7th at The Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street in Bordentown, NJ. A visitation with the family will be held from 10:30am until the time of service. Interment will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery located in Wrightstown, NJ.
