Obituary

Richard Carvalho, 55, of Bordentown Twp., passed away Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Richard had spent his entire life in the Bordentown area.

Richard was a member of Laborers Local #172 in Bordentown and later become self-employed establishing RMC General Contracting Company. He coached Bordentown Little League Baseball and volunteered with St. Mary's R.C Church Bingo for many years.

Son of the late Frank and Pauline Carvalho, he is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, of over 35 years; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Lorraine Carvalho of Hamilton Twp.; a brother, James Carvalho and his daughter Alexa of West Windsor; a sister Joanne Cibik and her husband Michael of Levittown; a grandson Jonathan Carvalho; a mother-in-law, Lois Bulovcsak and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, both here and in Hawaii.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 10 am, at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown. Rev. Stephen Schuller, SVD will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bordentown. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation, 120 Albany St., Tower Two, Fifth Floor, New Brunswick, NJ 08901
