Reginald Rushworth, 95, passed away peacefully on July 1st at 7pm in the Masonic Home in Burlington, NJ. His wife of 67 years, Barbara and son-in-law John Clyburn were at his bedside. Reg was born in Otley, Yorkshire, England, on April 15, 1914 to James and Sarah Rushworth. He was predeceased by daughter, Christine Rushworth Clyburn (1942-2006). He is survived by his wife, Barbara Pratt Rushworth and son-in-law John B. Clyburn, Jr. Mr. Rushworth was a certified Mechanical Engineer in the Printing and Engraving industry in England and the United States. Reggie was a Past Master of Essex Lodge #7, F&AM, a Past Patron of Caldwell Chapter, OES, a member of the AASR, and the Salaam Shriners, all in New Jersey.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, July 19, 2009, in the NJ Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ.Interment next to his daughter, Christine Rushworth Clyburn, will be in the Clyburn Plot, Quaker Cemetery, in Camden, SC in the future. The family has requested donations to the NJ Masonic Charity Foundation, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016, in lieu of flowers or gifts.
