Raymond E. Jones , 89, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Deborah Heart and lung Center in Browns Mills with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Hamilton Township and was a graduate of Hamilton High School. He later moved to Bordentown Township and was a resident there since 1958. Ray was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War and later a member of the Navy Reserves. He worked as a pipefitter for US Steel and later for Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly in maintenance. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F & AM, the Tall Cedars and a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bordentown. Ray was loved by his family, respected by his friends and will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Helen Jones and his brother Henry Jones, he is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Betty Jean Jones(Patrick), his two sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Mary Jones of Florida and Donald and Debra Jones of Columbus, NJ. His sister: Marie Numan and her husband Richard of Hamilton Township. His grandchildren: Kimberly, Casey and Patrick Jones and great grandchildren: Gavin Jones and Jayson Montalvo-Jones.

Funeral Services will be 12 pm, Tuesday August 31 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Viewing hours will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm and again on Tuesday morning from 11 am till time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Brig. General Wm C Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown. Masonic Services will be held Monday evening at 7:30 pm.
