Raymond C. Grover, Sr., 92, of Cream Ridge, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. Born in Mercer County, he was a US Army Veteran serving during Korea.  Raymond worked for PSE&G for 35 years, retiring in 1988 and held serval positions including, Gas Pipe Fitter and Service Specialist. He was a longtime member of the Cranbury Methodist Church.  An avid outdoorsman, he raised honeybees and loved to hunt, fish, and sail his boat.  In his younger years, Raymond enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. One of Raymond's great joys was accompanying his son, Raymond Jr. in his truck, while he did deliveries.

Son of the late Lester and Laura Grover, Raymond was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Edna Grover; his brother, Lester Grover and his wife, Leah, and his sister-in-law, Sylvia Grover.  Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond Grover Jr.; his grandchildren, R. Christopher Grover and his wife, Elizabeth, Crystal Nilsen and her husband, Douglas III; Debbie Grover; his great grandchildren, Dixie and Dougie; his brother, Donald Grover; and his caregiver, Leesa Kangal as well as many loving extended family and friends.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.  Memorial contributions may be made in Raymond's name to Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
