Raymond J. French, 85, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. Born and raised in Jersey City, he had lived in Bordentown Township for the last 25 years. He retired from Colgate / Palmolive in Jersey City and was a member of the Colgate retirees Association. Ray was an avid stamp collector and was a loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Giants. His family was very important to him and he will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by his parents George and Josephine French, he is survived by his partner of 27 years, Marilyn J. Holzmann, his son, Raymond French of Linden, two daughters: Diane McHarris and her husband Charles of Barnegat and Michelle French of East Rutherford. Four grandchildren: Danielle Bogovich, Jason McHarris and Michael and Adam French and great grandson, Justin Riley Himes.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, July 11 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow at the Bordentown Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
