Phoebe M. Gaylard, 87, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her home. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, she was a long time Allentown resident. Phoebe retired from Upper Freehold Regional School District and was very active in the Allentown community. She was a member of the Allentown Villagers, a former member of the Hope Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered for the United Methodist Women. Phoebe also loved to garden and took wonderful care of her home and family. She was a devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother.

Daughter of the late James and Marguerite Stewart she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Lionel J. Gaylard. She is survived by her children, Cyndy Crotchfelt of New Egypt, Wendy Swaysland and her husband Don of Allentown and Andrew Gaylard and his companion, Stacy of Glenolden, PA; her grandchildren, Rob Crotchfelt and his wife Casey and Tim Crotchfelt and his girlfriend, Robyn Zaidel; her great grandson, Robbie as well as a large extended family and friends.

Services will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
