Pearl Alice Brecht (nee Million), 81, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton, after a lengthy illness. Born in Jamaica, L.I., NY., she had resided in Yardville for the past 58 years. Pearl retired from the Hamilton Township Board of Education.

Daughter of the late Wilhelm and Ann Million, wife of the late Harry Brecht Sr. and mother of the late Christopher Brecht, she is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Masciantoni and her husband Donald of Florence and sons, Harry Brecht Jr. and his wife Susan of Orangeburg, SC., Robert Brecht of Yardville and David Brecht and his wife Kristin of Yardville. Her brother, Harold Million of North Hanover. Four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be 4 pm Sunday, August 23, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Family and friends may call from 2 pm until time of service. Interment will be private. The family is truly grateful for the kind medical attention provided by the caring nurses from the VNA Hospice of Mercer County and in lieu of flowers wish memorial contributions to be made to VNA of Mercer County, 171 Jersey St., Suite201, PO BOX 441, Trenton, NJ 08603.
