Paul R. Stetler, 53, of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 31st at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Cinnaminson, he graduated from Cinnaminson High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in History from Rider. Paul was very active in local, state and national Democratic politics. He was a Mansfield Township committeeman and an active member of the Dorthea Dix Unitarian Universalist Community where he served on the executive board.
Son of the late Warren and Jane Moffet Stetler; he is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Stetler (nee Hartman); two brothers, Glenn Stetler and his wife Jeanne and Richard Stetler and his wife Susan; a sister, Marcia Stetler Klock and her husband Tony and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Paul will be missed by many close friends, including Irene and Dave French.
A celebration of life will be held 6pm on Wednesday, August 5th at the Crosswicks United Methodist Church, Ward and Church St., Crosswicks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doctors without Borders, 333 7th Ave. 2nd Floor, NY, NY 10001 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St. 3rd Floor, NY, NY 10016.
