Paul S. Simon , 77, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Chambersburg prior to moving to Hamilton Square, NJ, where he lived for the past 50+ years.
Paul was a Navy Veteran and had worked for General Electric prior to becoming a technician for the Philadelphia Naval Yard in Pennsylvania. He was an avid NASCAR Bill and Chase Elliott fan, N.J. Devils, N.Y. Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed photography. But the best thing in life for Paul was watching his granddaughters dance, whether in competition or just around the house.
Predeceased by his parents Paul and Josephine Simon and his beloved wife just shy of 56 years Connie Simon, he is survived by his sons, Sean Simon and girlfriend Dawn Golding of Robbinsville, NJ and Brian and Denise Simon of Robbinsville, NJ. His brother Joel P Simon of Pageland, SC, his "adopted" son David and Joanne Maher of Hamilton Square, NJ, his wonderful grandchildren; Amanda and Ashley Simon, and Christopher and Laura Maher, as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am on Wednesday, July 6 at Mary, Mother of the Church, 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ. A visitation with family and friends will be held from 7pm-9pm on Tuesday evening and again from 10am until the church service at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ 08505. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Paul's name can be made to Trenton Cats Rescue, 1977 N. Olden Ave, Trenton, NJ 08618.
