Paul A. Gattini, 71, of North Hanover Twp., passed away Wednesday, April 29th at University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Brooklyn, NY; Paul was a resident of the area for 30 years. A US Merchant Marine veteran, Paul graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy on Long Island; he earned his Masters Degree from Columbia University. He was employed at McGuire Air Force Base as a Mechanical Engineer, retiring in 2002. Paul was an avid horseman, who raised and trained standardbred horses on his farm. He was a talented man who was up for any challenge.

Paul is survived by his wife of 43 years, Julia Gattini (nee Pinto); two sons, Anthony and Paul Gattini; two grandsons, Ryan and Dylan Gattini; sisters, Prudence Johnson and MaryAnne Vogt and her husband David as well as three brothers-in-law and their families.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, May 9th, 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown. Visitation will be held Friday May 8th from 1-3PM and 6-8PM and again Saturday May 9th from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paul A.
