Patricia Mary McCarthy Paravalos  "Bonnie " , 75, peacefully departed on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. Born and raised in Coney Island, Brooklyn and also resided in Staten Island, New Jersey, North Carolina and Florida through the years. In 2020, she found her way back home to New Jersey and reunited with her loving family. Patricia always remains strong to her faith, a devout Catholic and her bond with God was second to none. The highlight of her week was attending Sunday mass ,singing and praising the Lord and lighting candles for her beloved sister Ellen. She felt at home after finding St. Mary's Church in Bordentown. Patricia was a kind and loving Good Samaritan, always helping others in need, and volunteering her time. She touched the hearts of many and was a true light and blessing to all that were privileged to have known her. She was an amazing cook and perfected her Greek cuisine by spending many summers in Santorini. She had an eye for decorating and her style was unique. She loved music and dancing, going to the beach, playing bingo but nothing topped her pepsi and glazed donuts. Patricia was always dressed to the nines, perfect hair and makeup and never forgot her bling. She truly was our "Lady in Red". Her sweet memory shall remain eternal in our hearts.

Predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Lillian McCarthy, her stepfather Gus Ivanoff as well as her sister and brother-in-law Ellen and Steve Martakis. Patricia is survived by her husband, George Paravalos, her son Nikolaos and his children Elleana,George and Christos, her daughter Magdalene, fiance John and her children Daniel and Juliana, her brother and wife Cornelius and Migdalia McCarthy, her sister Kathy Martone along with her beautiful nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Patricia will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street , Bordentown, New Jersey 08505. A funeral mass for Patricia will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, June 6th at St. Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 45 Crosswicks Street Bordentown, New Jersey 08505.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Mary's Church in Bordentown or to the Dementia Society of America, www.dementiasociety.org/donate
