Otto F. Bux, 92, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at home with his family by his side. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Sparta, NJ for 27 years prior to moving to Cream Ridge, NJ. He was a WWII Merchant Marine Veteran and retired as a claims adjuster for Mobil Oil after over 40 years. Otto was also a member of the Masonic Fraternity and the American Legion.

Otto is predeceased by his parents, Otto and Julia Bux, his sister and brother, Mildred Bortnick and Fred Bux; his son, Bruce Bux; and his beloved wife of 67 years, Mabel Bux. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Maguire of Sparta, NJ, his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Suzanne Bux of Cream Ridge, NJ, and his daughter-in-law, Virginia Bux of Manhattan, NY; his grandchildren: Sean Maguire, Kelly Gardner and her husband John; Aimee and Kevin Bux and his great grandchildren: Anna and Hudson Gardner.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 17th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St, Allentown, NJ. Interment will be private.
