Obituary

Olive D. Higgins, 94, of Whitehall, PA, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024.  Born in Cranbury, NJ she resided in Robbinsville, NJ and Ormond Beach, Fl, before moving to Whitehall.

Olive was the wife of the late H. Gordon Higgins and the daughter of the late Sally and Garritt Dammers of Old Bridge, NJ. She was a graduate of South River High School. She was a homemaker, devoted to her family, and worked for McGraw Hill in Hightstown, NJ for 8 years, prior to moving to Florida. Olive enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and reading. She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, delivering meals for 12 years while in Ormond Beach.

Predeceased by her husband of 69 years, H. Gordon Higgins and her siblings, Mildred Galley, Eileen Kordzinski, Randall and Garry Dammers and her son-in-law, Frank Nagy. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sam & Debra (Nagy) Stovall of Allentown, PA; grandsons, Seth Nagy of Orefield, PA and Scott Nagy (Gabi) of South Orange, NJ; great grandchildren, Eloise and Henry; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 12pm on Friday, February 9th  with a visitation preceding from 11am-12pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ.  Interment will follow in the Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery, Allentown, NJ.
