Norman L. Marchincin, 77, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton. Born in Houtzdale, PA, he had been a resident of Fieldsboro most of his life. He was an Airforce Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Norman retired after 25 years working in the maintenance department for the Trenton State Prison and 12 years as a heat treater for De Laval Turbine in Trenton. He was a long time member of the Fieldsboro United Methodist Church and was affectionately known as "Mr. Fixit". He enjoyed car shows, airplanes, was a member of the local bowling league and was close with his dog "Baxter". He will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by his parents, Steve and Elizabeth Marchincin and his three brothers John, Steve and Don, he is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda Marchincin, his two daughters: Robin Marchincin of Lawrenceville, Jodi Reese and her husband Rev. Ed Reese of Morrisville, PA, his son: Dr. Randy Marchincin and his wife Laurie of Doylestown, PA, his sister: Marlene Marchincin of Frewsburg, NY and four grandchildren: Brynn and Kyler Reese and Jordyn and Ryan Marchincin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A Service celebrating Norman's life will be held 11:30 am Wednesday, December 28 at the Fieldsboro United Methodist Church, 200 2nd St., Fieldsboro, NJ. Family and friends may call from 10:30 am until time of service at the church. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
