Nicholas S. Reid, 85 of Hightstown, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home. Born in Allentown, he was a lifetime area resident. A US Army veteran serving during the Korean Era, Nicholas was a Master Plumber and retired from Coleman Heating and AC in Allentown. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, was an avid reader, coin collector and loved spending time with his family, especially watching his great grandchildren play soccer and baseball and facetiming with all the great grandchildren.

Son of the late John and Anna Faber Reid, he was predeceased by his wife, Martha Reid. Nicholas is survived by his son, Michael Jakovic; his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Edward Brodzinski Jr.; his grandsons and their wives, Ed and Sharon Brodzinski, Craig and Kari Brodzinski and Keith and Sarah Brodzinski, his great grandchildren, Andrew, Eric, Carter, Griffin, Martha-Jane and Kennedy and his aunt, Lena (Carolyn) Olbis and his uncle, Robert Faber.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 26 ^th at 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Friday from 9-11am at the funeral home.
