Nicholas Ilijic, 52, of New Egypt, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 at his home.  Born in Rijeka, Croatia, he resided in the area for the past few years.  Nicholas was a VP Systems Analyst for the Bank of New York, a member of St. John's Church in Allentown, an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 7333 and Nicholas often volunteered at the Allentown Food Pantry.

Son of the late Nikola Ilijic; he is survived by his wife, Mrya Ilijic; two sons, Andrew and Jonathan Ilijic; his mother, Nina Ilijic; his sister, Helen Ilijic; his uncle, Ivan Grego and 10 nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9am on Saturday, February 12 ^th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd., Allentown.  Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial.  Friends may call 6-9pm Thursday and again 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus # 7333 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd, Allentown, NJ 08501 or to the Allentown Food Pantry c/o Allentown Presbyterian Church, PO Box 122, Allentown, NJ 08501.
