Nicholas M. Fazio, 85, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at his home. Born in Trenton, Nicholas and his wife resided in Bordentown for many years before moving to Hamilton. He retired from Young's Rubber where he worked as a Machinist. Nicholas was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing, painting and woodworking. He often shared his art with his friends and neighbors and taught art classes at his community activity center. Nicholas was also an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Bertha R. Fazio, his daughter, Cynthia Chorba and 8 siblings, Nicholas is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Vivian Fazio of Shelbyville, TN; his daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Dean Allen of Hamilton Township; son-in-law, John Chorba, of Bordentown; grandchildren, Cara Mithani and her husband Zeeshan, Dean Allen and his wife Monica, Jacklyn Allen, Danielle Jungman and her husband Chris, Megan Sasso and her husband Dan, Derek and Cody Chorba; great grandchildren, Mara and James Allen and Ariya Mithani as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2pm on Thursday, December 1st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Friends may call Thursday from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nicholas' name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
