Nancy F. Van Voorhis, 86, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at CareOne of Hamilton. Born in Queens, NY, she resided in Dumont, NJ for many years before moving to Hamilton in 2000. A WWII Navy veteran, Nancy was a graduate of Scudder Business School and was employed for several years at Parents Magazine. Nancy was also a member of the Graceway Bible Church in Hamilton.

Predeceased by her brother, Major Boone Seegers; Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert A. Van Voorhis, Jr.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert A. Van Voorhis, III of Conover, NC and Daniel and Dee Van Voorhis of Cream Ridge and a granddaughter, Heather Van Voorhis of Cream Ridge.

Funeral Service will be held 1:30pm on Thursday, September 2nd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ 08501. Dr. Richard Emmons of Graceway Bible Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Visitation will be held, Thursday from 1pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Graceway Bible Church,1934 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
