Nancy S. Ellis, 87 of Crosswicks, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at home. Born in Morrisville, PA; she was a longtime Crosswicks area resident. As a young girl her summers were spent at the family cabin on Lake Shehawken in Starrucca, Pa. She was a graduate of Morrisville High School and Mary Washington College. She served in many capacities in her church and in the agricultural community and worked as a realtor as well for many years. But she will most be remembered for her role as a devoted mother and tireless farm wife.

Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Walter Ellis, Jr.; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Roland Wills of Mission Viejo, CA, her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Charmaine Ellis of Yardville, four grandchildren, Casey Fraser and her husband Ian, Kiley DaPena and her husband Derek, Erin Ellis and Lauren Ellis, six great grandchildren, Braxton, Avery, Kasen, June, Hudson and Ryland.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am on Thursday, March 27 ^th at the Crosswicks United Methodist Church, Ward Ave and Church St., Crosswicks, NJ. Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown and again Thursday morning from 10 am until time of service at the church.
