Nadia Richford, 66, of Robbinsville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital, Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton, NJ with loved ones by her side through her entire journey into God's arms. Born as Nadia Bojtschuk in war-torn Belgium, Nadia and her parents came to Trenton, NJ by way of Ellis Island in 1953. A long time employee of the Daily Racing Form, Nadia was responsible for a wide variety of tasks including data entry, advertisement layout and the satellite room. Famous for her Christmas cookies, Nadia also treated friends and family to her handmade quality needlework, scarves and afghans. She was totally devoted to her family, especially her grandson, Cameron, as a Sunnybrae Little League "Grandmom!". Nadia truly cared for others and was always willing to help; whenever and wherever her family, friends, neighbors and strangers who needed her, she was there. She has left a loving impression on many hearts.
Daughter of the late Iwan and Olga Bojtschuk; Nadia is survived by her daughter, Lisa Richford and son-in-law, Darryl Bogart; her son, Thomas Richford; her beloved grandson, Cameron Bogart; an aunt, Sofia Dembitcka Myronenko; two special cousins that were as close as sisters to her, Luba Myronenko Dreyling and Lida Myronenko Raywood-Sharp; a Godson, Christopher Dreyling; a mother-in-law, Dorothy Richford; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, special love, Michael Seamon who never stopped proposing to her; special childhood friend, Tina DeMartino Parish; and special extended families the Piepszaks and Bonacordas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am on Thursday, May 21st at St. Raphael's Church, 3500 South Broad St, Hamilton. Interment will follow in St. Mary Assumption Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.
