Myrtle Samsoe, 94, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, she resided in Fords, NJ for over 50 years before moving to Burlington 11 years ago. She retired from Merck Pharmaceuticals and was a member of the OES Chapter of Perth Amboy  and the Grace Lutheran Church also of Perth Amboy.

Daughter of the late Cornelius and Marie Snedeker, wife of the late Eugene Samsoe, mother of the late Donald and Robert Jenny and sister of the late Thomas and Gerald Snedeker and Irene Costanzo, she is survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service celebrating Myrtle's life will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, January 16 at Grace Lutheran Church, 600 New Brunswick Ave. , Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Myrtle's name to the Grace Lutheran Church at the address above. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
