Obituary

Milton V. Probasco, Sr., 94, of Cream Ridge, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at his home. Born in Cream Ridge, he was a lifetime resident. A graduate of Allentown High School, Milton farmed in the area for his entire lifetime. In later years, he worked as a supervisor for Rutgers Fruit Research and Extension Center in Cream Ridge. He was a member of the Allentown/Upper Freehold Regional School Board for over 22 years, a member of the New Egypt Zoning Board and was a lifetime member and elder of the Presbyterian Church. Above all, Milton was a dedicated family man and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Son of the late William V. and Genevieve Probasco; Milton Sr. was predeceased by his son, Milton "Van" Probasco Jr. and son-in-law, J. Sherman Cooper, III. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie Probasco; his children, Sherry and Barry Wright, Bill and Susan Probasco, Jeff and Joyce Probasco, Marc Probasco and Diane Sullivan, Patti Cooper and Mark Juza, and Chris and Pattie Probasco; a daughter-in-law, Kim Probasco; two sisters, Margaret Kendall and Dorothy Barclay; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26 th at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, High St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Cream Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday April 25 th from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Memorial contributions may be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486.
